The Skill Set

The greatest commitment we make is to ensure that things go well for you after graduation.  From the very beginning of your four years, we do all we can to make sure that you are acquainted with all your career options.  We also feel very confident that you will graduate with a skill set that prepares you to excel in a wide variety of careers.  After four years, you will have gained the following skills:

Where Do Our Graduates Go?

Recent Alumni

Our graduates end up going into a wide variety of fields.  Here are a few examples:

Stephanie Hughes is at Albany Law School in New York;

Michael Depa is pursuing an MA in history at Washington State University;

Daniel Robison
is in IU’s school of journalism, having won the Cushman Fellowship;

Curtis Schaeffer is studying for the priesthood at the Catholic seminary in the diocese of Cincinnati;

A J Lichlyter is in the doctoral program for School Psychology at Indiana State; and

Josh Cain is with the Peace Corps, bringing fresh water supply to villagers in Belize.

 

Previous Graduates

Larry Mackey completed a law degree and was the trial lawyer in the Oklahoma City bombing case

Richard Werking completed a PhD in History and an M.A. Library Science and is currently head librarian at the U.S. Naval Academy

Bill Carr is president and CEO of Liberty National Bank

Amanda Sifford graduated from Vanderburgh Law School and practices Law.

Sarah Burns is in Graduate School at Florida State.

Heather Schaad and Steve Calderwood are in fully-funded PhD programs at Illinois
