Sixth Annual Chili Night, February 2009

Among snow storms and power outages, the history department gathered for its annual chili festival, and as usual it was a tremendous night. About 60 people squeezed into the Gahans’ house once again, and sampled chili made by the five professors and Carol Dibble, as well as Annette’s corn bread. After a tense electoral process, the winning dish turned out to be… the corn bread! And so Dr. Parks took home not just some empty tins but the Golden Ladle.
